New Determination
I would like to start this post by saying no, I am not just procrasinating because I have a play to write and it's due on the 31 and I've only written half of it. It's more than procrastination. I swear.
Anyway, after spending an entertaining couple of days reading through Yahtzee's website (http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/, THE funniest thing I have read on the web in some time, and his games rock), I have decided that I am tired being jealous of people who run funny websites. I can write funny articles, too. Self-deprecating, yes, very much so, but also hopefully funny. So there.
In this spirit, I am going to attempt to use blogs to write funny articles. I don't think it'll be that hard - it's kind of like that bad Family Guy joke where the dad does a "You Know What Really Grinds My Gears" segment for the local news. Just with more intelligence and less crude humor.
So, with this intention, I will abandon this blog - which I may return to if I want to post other, non-funny-article things - and create a new one in which I will attempt to be as funny as the people I admire.
Pray for my soul.
